What can I expect?

At the end of the session, you will be amazed at what you’ve created and proud of your piece. Plus, you get to take it home with you that night!

The Paint Cellar is a casual environment. We play upbeat music and our instructors are energetic and fun! Each individual will create a unique, acrylic painting that is yours to take home. You will be amazed by what you can accomplish with the right tools! Light snacks, beverages and cocktails are available for purchase.

What should I wear?

Clothes and shoes you don't mind getting paint on! Although an apron is provided, we cannot guarantee paint will not get on your clothing or shoes. We are using acrylics, not washable paint. The Paint Cellar cannot be responsible for paint accidents.

I’m not an artist. I’m nervous.

That is ok. No painting experience is necessary. The instructor will guide you through each step in detail and remember this is for fun, not competition!

Can I bring in food or snacks?

No, but snacks and drinks are available for you to purchase.

Cocktails anyone?

A wide variety of beer, wine, and cocktails are available during all of our classes. Join us for a mimosa during our morning classes as well.

How long are the sessions?

Sessions are approximately 2 to 2.5 hours long.

Are there breaks?

Yes, but the number of breaks depends on the complexity of the painting.

How can I buy a gift card?

Absolutely. Stop by the studio or give us a call. We offer gift cards in any amount. you can purchase a gift card online as well.

Why do you need my credit card number when registering for an event?

Your credit/debit card will not be charged, and is only used to reserve your seat(s). Please call or e-mail us if you need to cancel your event. This gives us the opportunity to fill the space. If reservation is not cancelled 48 hours in advance, we will charge the class fee. Thanks for your understanding.

What is the cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 48 hours notice if you must cancel. Please give us a call as soon as you think you won't make the class. Class fees will be charged to cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice. Reservations are transferable, so consider gifting your session to a friend, if you can't make the class.

Should I sign up in advance?

Yes. We do recommend that you sign up in advance to ensure your spot in the class. Class sizes are limited and fill up quickly. If you’d like to attend a session that is sold out, please call us to be added to the wait list.

What time should I arrive?

Arrive 15 minutes before your class to get checked in, order a drink and be ready to begin.

I want to come with a group of friends, can we all sit together?

Yes, IF you let us know when reservations are made how many will be in your party, we will make arrangements for you.

Should I tip my Artist & Bartender?

We have some amazing artists, and they love what they do! In addition, they all serve as your bartenders as well, since drinks are always helpful to the creative process. We are so fortunate to have their expertise on hand and I'm sure they would appreciate you sharing your thanks with a tip for their drink service, artistic instruction, and help with the creation of your amazing painting or projects.

Tipping is always up to the discretion of the customer, whether in a restaurant or at the Paint Cellar.

A 15% tip will be added to any tabs left open.
